Privacy Notice

This explains what personal information Caring Hands Grave Care collects, why it is held, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

What we collect

Only what is needed to carry out the service and speak to you about it. That usually means your name, your phone number or email address, the cemetery or churchyard concerned, the name on the memorial, and any notes you give us about what you would like done.

Where we carry out work, we take photographs of the memorial and graveside before and after a visit.

Why we hold it

To reply to your enquiry, to arrange and carry out the work, to send you the photographs and care report afterwards, and to keep a record of what was done at a particular grave. Where we hold information after a job is complete, it is to support any follow-up visits and to answer questions later.

How you contact us

This website has no contact form. Messages reach us by WhatsApp, phone or email, which means your message is handled by whichever service you chose to use, under that provider's own terms, before it reaches us.

Photographs

Photographs of a memorial normally show a name and dates. We use them to show you the work carried out at your grave. We do not publish a photograph of an identifiable memorial on this website or on social media without asking the family first, and you can withdraw that permission at any time.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing. Where a cemetery, churchyard or burial authority requires details in order to permit work at a grave, we share only what that permission requires.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Records and photographs relating to work carried out are kept while you remain a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.

This website

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your browser and does not build a profile of you, so there is nothing here for you to consent to or opt out of. We see totals, not individuals.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, and typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Both receive your IP address as a normal part of serving the page to you.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to how it is used. Contact us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If this notice changes, the updated version will appear on this page. Last updated August 2026.
